Elvis' death the 16th

Elvis died on the 16th. Tne new movie about his relationship with "colonel" Tom Parker is terrific. I met Elvis when I was 15, he 19, just beginning to get started. He was very friendly until he became superfamous. Then he was out of reach. I still love him and his music. That's me next to him.

Elvis Presley, still the king

January 8th was Elvis' birthday. He would have been 75. Turner Classic Movies showed two of his tours. Both were great, showing him in top form. He had a voice that is so much better than others today. He also is a whole lot sexier. I enjoy him just as much today as I did when I was 15 and first saw him in Texas. See http://www.elvispresley-thebook.com/ for my book about him. Read More
